ICU progress..

The patient was extubated at 08h00, despite a moderate tachycardia
of 118/min and low grade pyrexia of 38.1oC.
Enteral feeding was started and well-tolerated.
Records were finally obtained, revealing that the patient
had been treated for a Deep Vein Thrombosis in the right thigh,
diagnosed 1 month ago, with inadequate monitoring of warfarinisation,
and no investigation as to the cause
... But a few problems remain ...
